International Relations Unit aims to increase international competence of our students, academic/administrative staff as well as contributing to the internationalization within the region.

To fulfil this objective, we mainly rely on organizing and carrying out various activities such as student and staff mobility, intensive language courses, establishing cooperation between international partner universities.

In many of the faculties at Kocaeli University, there are courses offered in English for our exchange students. In 2010-2011 academic year, 30 % of most degree programmes at Kocaeli University will be offered in English.
